Delete your One Place account

One Place · Last updated 13 August 2026

One Place is a local business directory and marketplace for India, operated by Sagar Rathore, an individual developer based in India. This page explains how to delete your account and exactly what happens when you do.

The fastest way: delete it yourself, in the app

  1. Open One Place.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Tap Delete my account at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Read what will be removed, type your username to confirm, and tap Delete my account.

It takes effect immediately. There is no waiting period, no review queue, and no way to undo it.

If you no longer have the app

Email rathoresagar26@gmail.com with the subject Delete my account, sent from the email address on the account, or quoting the phone number or username on it — we need one of those to be sure we are deleting the right person's account, and we will not delete an account on a request we cannot tie to it.

Requests are actioned within 30 days and confirmed by reply.

What is deleted

What is kept, with your name removed

Some records are not only yours. They are also the record of the business you dealt with, so they are retained with your identity stripped out and your name shown as "Deleted user":

RecordWhy it is kept
Orders and billsThey are the business's financial records, and may be needed for its accounts and tax.
Bookings and membershipsSame — the business's record of what was booked and paid. An active plan is cancelled.
Ratings and reviews you leftA business's rating is earned from verified transactions. Deleting an account should not rewrite another business's score.
Questions and offers on a public itemThe stall thread is public by design — the next shopper finds the question already answered.
A staff entry at a business you worked forIt is the business's own roster record. It is unlinked from your account.

Free text you wrote personally — an order note, a booking note — is removed rather than anonymised.

If you own a business listing

A listing that has staff, orders, bills, members, reviews, customer chats, call history, tracked items or an ad campaign cannot be deleted along with your account. Deleting it would destroy other people's records — a customer's bill, a team member's job, another business's order history.

Before your account can be deleted, either transfer the listing to its real owner, or take the listing down yourself from its workspace. The app tells you exactly which listings are in the way and why.

A listing nobody has used yet needs no action — it is deleted along with your account.

Retention after deletion

The anonymised commercial records above are retained for as long as the business that holds them keeps its account, because they are that business's records. They no longer identify you: your profile, contact details and sign-in are gone, and only an internal random identifier remains, which points at nothing.
