Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Sagar Rathore, an individual developer based in India ("we", "us"), covering your use of the One Place mobile application. By using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. What One Place is
One Place is a directory and introduction service. It helps people find local businesses, shops, service providers, rentals and individual sellers, and lets them contact and transact with each other.
We are not a party to your transactions. Every order, booking, rental, membership and sale is an agreement between you and the other user. We do not sell any goods or services listed in the app, we do not verify the quality, safety, legality or accuracy of any listing, and we do not handle money.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, for keeping your password confidential, and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You may browse without an account. An account is required to order, book, message, call, review or list.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- List anything you may not lawfully sell or rent in India, or anything you do not own or have the right to offer.
- Impersonate another person or business, or claim a listing that is not yours.
- Post false, misleading, abusive, obscene, hateful or harassing content.
- Post a review of your own business, or a review you were paid to write, or manipulate ratings in any way.
- Use the app to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to harvest other users' details.
- Interfere with the app's operation, probe its security, or attempt to access data that is not yours.
- Use automated means to scrape listings or reproduce the directory.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post — listings, photos, messages, reviews. By posting it you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of operating the app. You confirm you have the right to grant this, and that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaches these terms, and we may do so without notice where the breach is serious.
5. Business listings and team members
If you list a business you are responsible for the accuracy of its details, prices and availability, for honouring what you accept, and for complying with every law, licence, registration and tax obligation that applies to your trade. If you add team members, you are responsible for what they do with the access you give them.
6. Reviews
Reviews may only be left by verified customers, and are the personal opinion of the person who wrote them. We do not endorse them and do not check them for accuracy. We may remove a review that breaches these terms.
7. Payments
The app processes no payments. Bills issued in the app are a record only. Money is settled directly between you and the other party, and any dispute about payment, refunds, quality or delivery is between you and them. The app currently offers no subscriptions or in-app purchases.
8. Promoted listings
Businesses may promote an offer so it appears more prominently to people nearby. Promoted cards are labelled "Sponsored". Promotion affects placement only — it is never a recommendation or an endorsement by us, and it does not affect a business's rating. Arrangements for promotion are made directly with us and are settled outside the app.
9. Voice calls
Calls run over the internet inside the app and no phone numbers are exchanged. Calls are not recorded. Call quality depends on your network and we do not guarantee it. The app is not a telephone service and must not be relied on for emergency calls — dial your local emergency number instead.
10. Live location sharing
Live vehicle tracking is optional and driver-controlled. A driver chooses when to start and stop sharing. Positions shown are approximate, may be delayed, and depend on the driver's device and network. Do not rely on them for safety-critical decisions.
11. Availability
We provide the app on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listings will be accurate or current. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of the app or from any dealing with another user. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your content, or your dealings with other users.
14. Ending your use
You may stop using the app at any time and may ask us to delete your account — see the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and where a change is significant we will notify you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
